Leaves which stem from the large Mexican cactus Nopal. They have a taste similar to that of a green bean.
Handling and Storage
Avoid cactus leaves that are thin with wilted leaves (a sign of an old product). Avoid soft, discolored or spotted leaves, too. Refrigerate for up to a week, wrap tightly in plastic. If thorns are still on, remove them using a vegetable peeler before eating.
