Handling and Storage
Choose big-sized nuts. To verify freshness, cut open and check for heavy, meaty, creamy-white kernels inside. Avoid nuts with greenish mold developed between the convoluted folds, kernel, and its outer shell. Keep in the refrigerator for up to a few weeks.
