A hybrid melon, resembling a cantaloupe.  They have a rounded shape, dense netting, and become yellow at full maturity.  They are sweet and aromatic.  They were first developed in Israel.
Growing Area
Southern United States, Costa Rica, Panama.
Handling and Storage  
Keep in the refrigerator.  After cutting, put in containers and store in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Common Names 
Dessert Melon.
Spring to Mid-Fall.  Imported Galia Melons from Costa Rica are available during the winter months.
