Orange-colored citrus, closely related to the mandarin orange. They are generally easier to peel and split into segments than oranges are.  They are also smaller than common oranges.  They have a sweeter and stronger taste than a common orange, as well.

Handling and Storage  
Look for heavy fruit.  Look for peels free of blemishes and with good color.  They can be stored on a counter top for a few days or store in the refrigerator for up to a week to two weeks to maximize their lifespan.
