Unusual appearance (known as “ugly fruit”). They are said to have a taste between a mandarin orange and a grapefruit. They are very juicy, with think lime-green to light orange skin. The skin is often mottled, uneven, or puffy – all of this is normal, which is why they are sometimes referred to as “ugly fruit”.

Choose fruit that is richly colored and fragrant. Store at room temperature (for up to one week) or for up to two weeks in the refrigerator. They are highly perishable.
