Cherimoyas are round, oblong, or heart-shaped fruit with pitted pale green rinds.  They taste like a blend of pineapple, mango, and strawberry.

Growing Area
California and Central and South America.
Handling and Storage 
Choose fruit that is firm and allow them to ripen at room temperature.  Handle with care.  As the Cherimoya ripens, the skin will begin to turn a darker green and will yield to gentle pressure.  Refrigerate soft fruit and use as soon as possible for best flavor.
