Lychee Nuts grow on tropical trees native to Southern China.  The fruit has a delicate, whitish pulp, with an intense floral smell and a fragrant, sweet flavor.  They have peelable reddish skin.  The skin and the seed inside are both non-edible.  The flesh has a smooth texture, similar to that of a peeled grape.

Thailand; Florida (between June and July); South Africa; Asia; Texas; California; Hawaii; Israel
Handling and Storage
Store in the refrigerator for up to a few days.
Year round. Thailand – end of March; Florida peaks between June and July.
