Hard green exterior, similar in shape to that of a grape.  The pulp is orange, or yellowish in color with a juicy and pasty texture.  It can be sweet or sour.  They are grown in bunches.  There is a large seed in each quenapa that can be roasted or eaten like sunflower seeds.
